Welcome to iiNet's Macintosh Software Archive --------------------------------------------- This site contains some of the most popular and most useful Macintosh applications in the world. The majority of these programs are either freeware (no cost to the user), or shareware (a small registration fee applies). It is up to the user to abide by the conditions of use of the application. Applications for both 68K ('normal') Macintoshes and PowerPC (PPC) Macintoshes are supported. Both versions will be stored here where possible to reduce the size of the file being downloaded. A brief explanation of suffixes: .sit means the file has been reduced in size by a Stuff-It program. .hqx means the file has been encoded using BinHex for transmission over the Internet. Others that may appear: .sea (Self-Extracting Archive) means the application will unstuff automatically when launched. .bin indicates the file is encoded in MacBinary format. .cpt means the file is reduced in size by a Compacter program. .txt means the file is a text document, and has not been encoded or compressed. You will need an application such as Stuffit Expander to unstuff and decode these files.
